Memory Walk: Histories of Struggle and Protest Led by Dr. Malathi De Alwis, this walk will consider how histories of struggle and protest, from the colonial period to the 21st century, can be mapped onto the landscape both as absence and presence. Some of the sites discussed en route will be the Colombo Cricket Club, National Archives, Cinnamon Gardens Police Station, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, Vihara Maha Devi Park, Town Hall, Dewatagaha Mosque and Baptist Church.
