Friday 5th September

Saturday 6th September
The Saturday night gig happens at the Charcoal Gallery Cafe located in Mt. Lavainia. This time’s line up are Sherazard, Serag and Shajee and they will be playing and singing. Charcoal Gallery Cafe 75 Hotel Road, Mount Lavinia.
Lester Perera presents his exhibition Wild In Ruin – a wildlife art exhibition. The exhibition will be at the Harold Peiris Gallery. Lionel Wendt Theatre 18 Guildford Crescent, Colombo 7.
Meet the struggling songwriter and composer David Seville. Meet the tree that was cut down (hello tree) and its inhabitants – three chipmunks. Alvin, Simon and Theodore. The American Center 44 Galle Road, Colombo 3.
A dance workshop which will teach the art of dancing. Will include a variety of dancing styles such as Latin American, Jive & Ballroom dancing conducted by Mrs. Shiromi Perera. No 400/2 Bauddhaloka Mw, Colombo 7.
Sunday 7th September
If you are in Galle, the Galle Fort Flea Market is on the coming weekend. Music, entertainment, food and drinks, designer clothing, painting and posters. It’s a pretty hippy affair, with pretty trinkets to pick up. Law court square, Galle Fort, Galle.
Music from the movies such as Star Wars, James Bond, the Gladiator, Mission Impossible, from the musical Chicago and Adagio from Spartacus will be brought to life by The Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka and the Ladies’ College Choir, and guest appearance by Ashanthi de Alwis, Devashrie de Silva, Amandhi Caldera and Thivanthi Perera. The Arcade Independence Square
Arcade Independence Square is the third super-complex to pop up in Colombo, after Dutch Hospital and Racecourse. 30, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7.
