Su.Ré is a start-up clothing brand designed by Seshadri Nithyanandan. The clothes are mostly made out of batiks and factory cast-offs. The collection features some unconventional designs, with lots of quirky and colorful prints.
Su.Ré mostly caters to the young with sizes ranging from 8-12 (UK) . At the moment there’s not a huge selection to choose from but we were told that there will be a new collection in about a month’s time.
The clutch bags look interesting with all the colors and the prints. The prices range from Rs. 1,900 – 2,500. There are both short and maxi dresses and these cost around Rs. 2,000+. There’s also a collection of colorful skirts, blouses and shorts.
Su.Ré was featured in Colombo Fashion Week (“”BrightSparks””) this year and Sri Lanka Design Festival last year.
They also take in custom orders but don’t do evening dresses.
