If you remember the charity called The Street Store, you would have also wondered where it suddenly disappeared to. Well look no further, we have gotten to the bottom of it… The Street Store has evolved to The Store.
Instead of hand-outs, The Store gives the poor a choice and the freedom to shop for the items they need. The Store provides the needy with a shopping experience where everything has a price that is affordable to them, between Rs. 50 to Rs. 200. So bring your unwanted or unused clothes down to The Store and support the needy!
All profits made from selling these items, go towards supporting CHA’s project “Educate & Empower Kids With Special Needs”
The Store takes second-hand goods consisting of a wide selection of men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes to homeware. To keep The Store stocked, they depend on donations of unwanted clothing and goods from members of the public.
The Store will accept reusable clean clothing, shoes and accessories, towels and linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, collectables and antiques, cartoons and educational DVDs and mobile phones. If you are a clothing manufacturer or retailer with end of line stock we will gladly take your donations!
The Store will not accept any electrical goods, furniture, books, toys, CDs or any items that are broken or require repair due to health and safety regulations.
Don't throw, if it's reusable, drop them off at The Store.
