The Sandwiches
They've got a podi collection of sweet and savoury sandwiches, and we went with the Cheesy Chicken (Rs. 290), Grilled Cheese (Rs. 250) and Chocolate Melt (Rs. 280). Each sandwich features four slices of bread and is so generously stuffed. Delivering the promised elements, chicken and cheese, we liked the Cheesy Chicken Sandwich. The chicken had a whiff of smokiness to it, which worked out well with the milky notes of mozzarella cheese.
Lightly grilled on the outside, the bread had a lovely crisp to it.
The Grilled Cheese Sandwich wasn't cheesy as we expected, and was a bit dry in texture. It shared the same grilled bread, and a little more cheese could have made everything better.
This was my personal favourite – the Chocolate Melt. Every inch of its bready inner surface was generously slathered with Nutella, making for a nice chocolaty treat.
Conclusion
The flavour combos here are quite simple, and nothing extraordinary, but given the price and how filling they're, we'd say it's worth it.
