The Food
Joshua’s Tree menu is filled with dishes named after beloved movies. First up, we tried the Catch Me If You Can (Rs. 1500), a beautiful medley of savoury and cheesy elements. The baked chicken breast had this wonderful crunch to the bite, was seasoned well to have just the right savoury edge, which complements the cheese sauce on top so perfectly. There was a slight saltiness in the Mashed Potato, but we didn’t mind as it was creamy as hell.
Their Tres leches (Rs. 650) is easily one of the best we’ve had in the city. The milk-soaked sponge cake base was soft, airy and moist, and we got a strong hint of condensed milk, all thanks to the generous drizzle of it. Plus, it was a pretty hefty slice too. So good, so good!
We instantly fell in love with their Iced Coffee. Boasting a rich coffee note, its sweetness was spot on. Such a classic, we must say!
Conclusion
Good, simple, comfort food, prepared with a homemade touch, Joshua’s Tree simply wowed us. If you're into Tres leches, this is one solid bet at it. We're already making plans to order up another batch.
