We recently complained about the poor service at Roots and received a few comments saying Juiceez is much better. We thought so too, but decided to go back just to double check.
Juiceez is pretty good. The staff are quite sweet and obliging, and the fruit is fresh and generally high quality. The menu when compared to Roots, however, is limited. Juiceez does what their names says – just juices, straight up. No mixes, no smoothies. The prices range from about Rs. 130 to Rs. 190, and they do the usual fruit like mango, lime, avocado, watermelon, etc. You also get lassi, tamarind, mixed fruit and beli.
Their range isn’t as extensive as Roots but they’ll mix and match things for you if you ask – and they don’t seem to get too confused about doing so. I wanted a lime juice with some ginger – a simple request, but surprisingly easy to mess up here – and they provided it without any hesitation or problems. This is what’s good about Juiceez – they don’t act bewildered when you ask for something, and they get your order across to you with minimum pain and fuss.
And the drinks are good. Since the fruit is all fresh from CIC it’s generally high quality stuff, and they don’t seem to spike the drinks too heavily with sugar.
I think they have about thirteen outlets with a few located out of the city as well. Juiceez is good for a refreshing, fresh juice. If you want a smoothie or something more elaborate, you might be better off at Roots – they are capable of making some very good drinks – just be prepared to exercise a little patience if you go.
