The important parts to remember from this infographic are that the election is on Monday, August 17 and that you need to show up at your registered location between 7 AM and 4 PM.
Results should start trickling out in the wee hours of the morning and the general result should be known the next morning. Twitter is a good place to keep up, follow the hashtag
#GenElecSL.
And now onto the next infographic— how exactly does this whole electing a Parliament thing work?

We hope this infographic helps you make some sense of the proportional voting system. Basically, seats in each district get allocated based on how many votes the
party
gets. Then the bums that fill those seats are chosen from your preferential votes. There is also a national list of MPs who are appointed, kind of like a Senate or an upper house.
At the end of the whole thing, you should get a purple pinky and a sleepless night watching the results. Enjoy, be safe and be cool.
