…they let us bring our dog in. And they brought him a bowl of water.
This was a nice, friendly gesture on the part of the staff. I don’t think Dutch Hospital has an official stance on dogs, but the guys at O! were still quite happy to accomodate us providing there was no trouble. And we were outside anyway.
We like the staff at the Dutch Hospital O! Bar a lot – service can be incredibly slow and frustrating on busy nights, but the guys (and girls) are still friendly and obliging.
We like the Brewery much better than the newly opened Floor by O! at the Ch&FC. While the O! at Dutch is fairly relaxed and casual (because of the large outdoor courtyard), the Floor is a lot more like a club. They won’t let you in if you’re wearing shorts or slippers, and the loud music and dark closed space makes for a rather nightclubesque atmosphere.
But the main difference between the Floor and the Brewery? At the Brewery they let the dog in, at Floor they didn’t let Indi in.
Disclaimer: We’re not giving the dog beer, he was just licking the condensation off the glass.
Happy Latte.
