Paradise is a lovely vegetarian cafe in the shadow of the Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi building near Thumulla junction. It’s exceptionally clean and serves great vegetarian rice and curry and eggless desserts.
Let’s start with the rice and curry. Their lunchtime repast is Rs. 150, which is on the high-end for vegetarian R&C, but it’s of really high quality. Their juice, also, is expensive at Rs. 150 for Avocado, and it takes a while, but that was the best avocado juice I’ve had in a long time.
The main appeal of the place is how clean it is. Everything is clean, and pleasing, and gentle. It’s exactly the sort of cafe you’d want in the shadow of a Buddhist building.
