Sri Lanka’s favourite submarine is probably at Dinemore.
This fast food franchise has been around for quite a while, and by the looks of it they’ve expanded and opened up many more restaurants in Colombo, Kandy and even expanding internationally by branching out into the beautiful islands of the Maldives.
Dinemore does the whole range of fast food stuff – burgers, submarines, sandwiches, shawarmas, pizzas and apparently they’ve even started doing a fried rice and biriyani (I’ll stick to my submarine thank you very much).
The Dinemore at kohuwala seems a predominantly take out restaurant; it’s a bit small and the place doesn’t have that homely atmosphere you would expect from a dine-in restaurant. They do have a few tables and chairs so you can always sit down and grab a bite to eat here.
Dinemore does home delivery, you can even order through their website although I would recommend you to calling if you want your food delivered relatively soon.
All in all, dinemore still remains one of colombo’s top fast food joints. They do a pretty tasty submarine if they manage not to screw it up.
