House of Lonali is an ethical designer brand that revamps discarded materials and fabrics to create
items that have a higher value and quality. In one word this is called upcycling which is a bit
similar to recycling. This brand houses some comfy, fresh styles and designs.
The Collection
The body of the collection is only ladies wear with sizes ranging from 10 – 12. There’s a selection
of blouses (Rs. 2,000+), pants (Rs. 4,000+), skirts (Rs. 3,000+) and dresses (Rs. 3,000+). Mostly
consisting of casual wear, these are not average clothing styles but one of a kind original
pieces.
There’s also a selection of bags both leather and fabric with prices starting from Rs. 2,000+ and
clutches (Rs. 2,275+). There were some quirky looking sandals from Rs. 2,300 upwards.
There’s a batch of handmade notebooks as well in different sizes with prices starting from Rs. 525.
Currently, there’s a new collection of fun looking Christmas decor with prices starting from Rs. 50. You can get them
custom made as well.
House of Lonali was featured in Colombo Fashion Week the ‘Bright Spark’ Fringe show in 2012 and the
Sri Lanka Design Festival this year. You can order online and get it delivered. They do worldwide delivery (delivery charges
