Join us at the cosy Gardenia Cafe to break your fast with the soothing sound of the Adhan playing in the background. It’s going to be a feast for your taste buds and soul!
Started with their porridge and soup. Broke fast with Ajwa dates and the lentil soup which was creamy, warm and awakened the breaking of the fast.
For appetizers they had plenty of Palestinian, and middle eastern salads, sauces, and international cuisine starters. One of our favourites was the cheese Borek, a spring roll wrapped with warm cheese with a crisp layer on the outside. Dipped it with the cucumber salad and a bit of hummus which we also got with mini pita breads.
Ramada’s Ramadan Dinner buffet also consisted of an action station that presented Chicken roast, hendello fried along with other mini iftar delicacies like sausage rolls, mini chicken pizzas, chicken shawarma which was also a melt in your mouth.
For the mains, the array of freshly prepared divine menu brought the middle eastern food culture to life. Served a hearty amount of the Majboos Rice with tender chicken chunks, spices ingrained with fried onions. Just yumm! We also tried their pasta Beef Goulash, battered fried fish, hot butter prawns which was another steal of the show. Additionally their mains stretches to tender chicken basted and sautéed, eggplant moussaka and vegetables half boiled, crisp with preserved originality of the rawness.
After a decently long time of savouring the iftar, appetizers and the unique mains, we tried every little bit of desserts that we don’t really get to try frequently. Every little bit of sugar had a touch of an Arabian moment. From Baklavas, Ghraybeh, Umm Ali- a warm and steamed version of the baklava, a cake baked with the smell and taste of pistachio and almonds, a super soft and melt blueberry cheesecake, spice infused carrot cake, and among the desert cups was a creamy Mouhalabia.
A peaceful and enjoyable iftar is probably all you need amidst the merciless heat, and the unkind busy days. Ramada provides just the right setting for that. They also provide segregated prayer rooms to perform religious obligations while experiencing a delectable meal perfectly meant to be indulged.
