The Brick Lane Cookie Company (BLC) is a new cookie shop in the Crescat Food Court. They bake fresh cookies for Rs. 100 or 140 each.
The Brick Lane Cookie Company does tasty and freshly baked cookies in the Crescat Mall. They’re mostly chocolate and mostly good.
The Cookies
We tried one of each (that they had available). The coconut chocolate chip was interesting, as was the white chocolate chip.
Seeing as these are cookies we won’t get too deep into review. They’re good cookies. Could perhaps be a bit gooier and chewier, but they’re sweet and one of the better options in the food court already. The best thing is that they’re freshly baked (you can see the little oven back there).
Service
The BLC is new and the people working there are quite nice. We will note that they’re opening hours on FB were listed as 10:30 and they only seemed to open at 11.
Location
Crescat is the most upscale Colombo mall (for now) and it’s connected to the Cinnamon Grand. It’s a pretty convenient location. The food court is one of the better ones as food courts go (they have a Shanmugas, and juice) and the BLC has a really prominent location right between the escalators.
Conclusions
The Brick Lane Cookie Company serves fresh cookies between the escalators of the Crescat Mall. It’s a quick and sweet bite you can grab on your way up or down.
