Hilton Colombo Reveals March Happenings.

Colombo, Sri Lanka – 28th February 2022 – Hilton Colombo announced their food and beverage line up for March.  A host of treats await discerning customers throughout the month, creating more experiences and new memories.

This year, in celebration of International Women’s Day, the hotel will pay tribute to all their lady guests with a beautiful floral backdrop in the Lobby providing photo opportunities for guests patronizing the hotel, whilst a special High Tea Buffet with free flow of Mocktails and a delectable array of chef’s specialties being the highlight at GRAZE KITCHEN on the 8th of March with two seating options between 3pm & 6pm.  This includes a special gift courtesy Luv Essence, for all the lovely ladies patronizing the high tea, and a chance to win some prizes!  

CAFÉ KAI is introducing novelty cakes and cupcakes in addition to the variety of sweet treats available, to enable you to pay tribute to the lady in your life! “High on Heels” a new concept will be launched on the 8th of March at the LAB (lounge & bar) from 6pm to 8pm.  Exclusively for ladies, an elegant evening of groovy vibes; exotic beverages & bites, live music by Flame and fun claims such as *higher the heel higher the liquid volume on the house in celebration of IWD!  *Terms & conditions apply. This new concept will continue thereafter, on every first Wednesday of the month from 6pm to 8pm (ladies only).

A special evening themed “Making Memories” exclusively for Lady Hilton Club members, will be held on the 23rd of March from 6.30pm – 9.30pm at SUNSETBLU.  Members are required to reserve their tickets by calling 077 322 8867.

The popular Chinese restaurant EMPEROR’S WOK open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, welcomes back Chef Ming who will have a few surprises up his sleeve to delight diners.  “Inspiring recipes are used to craft these specialty dishes.  So one must head over to this restaurant if you haven’t already” says Chef Ming. 

You can’t miss the breakfast at GRAZE KITCHEN! Executive Chef Robert Mujagic explains the menu as being one with variety, taste and colour.  “My team and I have curated a menu which will include a cross section of breakfast items from the different parts of the world.  Starting from our country, you will find the traditional Sri Lankan favourites like fresh crispy hoppers with various combinations like kiri appa, pani appa, string hoppers, pittu, milk rice, rotis and of course all the accompaniments that go along with it.  Our Indian corner will feature fresh Dosas prepared a la minute, Idly, poori, curries and rotis.  From the West, a range of our home-made artisanal sausages, different types of egg preparations, bacon, freshly baked croissants, Danishes, muffins, waffles, pancakes, breads, cereals, jams, cheese board and fresh juices will be on the daily breakfast buffet”.  Breakfast is available from 6.30am to 10.30am. Chef Robert states that people who love to eat are always the best people!  

Furthermore, the buffets at GRAZE KITCHEN will feature a variety of selected beverages during lunch and dinner. You can enjoy a free flow of mocktails throughout the week during lunch whilst cocktails will be included on Saturday and Sunday, and cocktails & mocktails during dinner all week. The above is included in the price.  

The LAB High Tea Platter for two will have four adaptations to choose from; western, local, vegetarian and tea inspired, accompanied by the popular Hilton iced coffee or a hot pot of tea served between 3pm and 6pm daily at this lounge & bar whilst the entertainment venues come alive with live music from 8.30pm onwards; LAB – Kings performing on Wednesdays, Flame on Thursdays & Fridays and Omega on Saturdays, and at SUNSETBLU the chilled out venue at the poolside will feature Magic Box Mixup on Wednesdays, Cold Sweat on Fridays and OIC & Warehouse Project alternately on Saturdays.
