Skrumptious makes a range of brownies, but this one is green.
We recently tried the mint swirl brownie (Rs. 1,100) and it was quite different from the usual. Some people in office said the mint part tasted like toothpaste but, well, no. For me, it tasted like mint and it was refreshing with the sweetness of the chocolate.
The brownie itself was gooey and soft. Skrumptious basically has the brownie part down to a science, with that same gooey texture that they nail every single time.
How you feel about the mint swirl depends on your preference. A few people in our office liked the look but only really appreciated the taste of the chocolate part. I personally prefer this to a regular brownie, but that’s because I don’t like chocolate much. This reminds me of those Andes choco mints I had as a kid.
Everyone basically likes brownies, but this one is a bit of a personal taste. Have a nibble of your own and see.
