2016 gave us a lot in terms of movies, from crime-fighting Bunny Cops to strange Doctors and Demi-God Dwayne The Rock Johnson. But, with a new year comes new movies and this time there's a lot to look forward to.
Here's a few of the most anticipated movies in 2017 (in no particular order).
- Power Rangers

There is hope that this movie will be action packed. It is definitely one for the books because this will be the last portrayal of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Sir Patrick Stewart as Professor X.
- Kong: Skull Island
Release date: March 10
I guess you can say this movie has a marvelous cast: Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Sam .L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel). Also, there's no damsel in distress in this reboot! Just Brie Larson kicking some serious butt.
- Fast 8: The Fate of The Furious

Summary of the the Fast franchise: cars, explosions and bald men.
- Beauty and The Beast

The Beauty and The Beast animated film came out in 1991. Now, nearly 26 years later, we've been blessed with a live action remake.
- Spider-Man. Homecoming

We have another Spider-Man! He's comic-accurate and if his acting is anything like what we saw in Captain America: Civil War, we're in for a treat!
- XXX: Return of Xander Cage
Release date: January 19
This is the third addition to the Triple X film series. Expect a lot of mind-blowing stunts because these films never disappoint.
- Guardians of The Galaxy
.
Release date: April 25
This movie is more light hearted than their other Marvel counterparts because they take on a more comedic role. Also, Baby Groot!
- Going In Style
Release date: April 7
Imagine God (Morgan Freeman), Batman's butler (Michael Caine), and Inspector Clouseau (Alan Arkin) rob a bank. That's it, that's the movie.
