We’ve started noticing new starting trishaw fares of Rs. 60, up from Rs. 50. As petrol prices go up this sorta makes sense. Rates remain the same from the second kilometer, from Rs. 32 – 40 per.
It’s been great that more and more trishaws in Colombo have gotten metered. It’s not so great that prices are going up, but with rising petrol costs the prices of everything will rise.
