Together with Anything.lk and JWT, YAMU is participating in the one plate project. One thing that unites Sri Lankans is food. Under the One Plate Project you can gift a plate of your favorite holiday food (be it Breudher, Wattalapan, Aasme+, or Jelebi+) to another random family. In return, you get a plate of food from someone else.
We’ll post more as the thing goes fully live, here’s a link to check it out. You should be able to buy (Rs. 500) after 5 o’clock.
The general hope is that food sharing can be a way of connecting communities and showing that Sri Lankans are united in our love for tasty treats.
