If you are a computer geek, and would like to take Ballerina for a twirl. There's this hackathon with your name on it. Drop by WSO2 on July 1st at 20, Palm Grove Avenue, Kolpetty, Colombo 3 for the Ballerina Hackathon.
In the evening you can drop in at Cloud Cafe when they host the Classic Movie Night. Blondie, Angel Eyes and Tuco are Good, Bad and Ugly, respectively. Each one of the three has a key portion of the puzzle leading to the location of the gold. But, none of them ever learned to share. Entrance is free of charge.
On Sunday, join a group of people for the Memory Matinée: Working In The Fort. This Memory Matinée moderated by Prof. Asoka de Zoysa will take place in Fort at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The conversation will revolve around working in Fort in Post-Independence Sri Lanka, connecting with other journalists working for the “Times” and trade union activism in the Colombo Harbour and not forgetting encounters with Afghan Money Lenders lurking in the narrow streets on payday.
