Embodying Power Em-(body)-ing Power is an independent pop up art show that aims to bring together Sri Lankan artists to explore the body and its relationship to institutions of power, in the spaces of family, community, industry, religion and politics.

Saturday, 3rd February

MUSICA PERPETUA – The Thomian Bandsmen In Concert Witness an evening filled with music, featuring our last concert's best hits along with a whole new lineup of Pop, Jazz & Soul music.

Sunday, 4th February

Memory Walk: Histories of Struggle and Protest Led by Dr. Malathi De Alwis, this walk will consider how histories of struggle and protest, from the colonial period to the 21st century, can be mapped onto the landscape both as absence and presence.  Some of the sites discussed en route will be the Colombo Cricket Club, National Archives, Cinnamon Gardens Police Station, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, Vihara Maha Devi Park, Town Hall, Dewatagaha Mosque and Baptist Church.

Art In The Village – Film Screening – Me, You and We!
