A festival organized with the sole purpose of empowering the pumpkin farmers of Sri Lanka. All profits gained by this festival will be given to the pumpkin farmers. Therefore, go on, be there at Greenpath this 22nd of Feb to lend a helping hand and maybe gain something as well.

Kala Pola 2019 – Sri Lanka’s annual open-air art fair, presented by The George Keyt Foundation and the John Keells Group, takes place on Sunday the 24th February 2019, along Ananda Coomarasawamy Mawatha, Colombo 7.Free of charge, it opens to the public at 8.00am and continues until 9.00pm. Drawing inspiration from similar open-air Art Fairs in Europe, Sri Lanka’s ‘Kala Pola’ commenced in 1993 and has morphed into a rich cultural event over years. This year’s Kala Pola will be the 25th year of John Keells Group’s partnership of this much-awaited and not-to-be-missed event in Colombo’s annual cultural calendar.
