Ginirachcha
Ginirachcha is incredible, guys! You SHOULD definitely try it out, especially if you live in the Piliyandala/Kesbewa area. It's one of the best bets at getting that beloved combo – Pol Sambol + Dhal Curry + Pork/Chicken Curry + Roast Paan/ String Hoppers. Everything is under Rs. 500, and they're quite generous with the portions.
Colombo Eatery
Colombo Eatery is all about guilt-free, AKA, low sugar desserts. Right now, they do a range of Biscuit Pudding, Jaggery Pudding, and Date Pudding. If satisfying your sweet tooth without having to worry about calories or diabetes is what you have in mind, this is a good pick to consider.
Cimply Yummy
Cimply Yummy is a trendsetter. They introduced the Bacon Cheese Kottu, and now many restaurants are following their footsteps. If you love anything with bacon, cheese or kochchi, this is the safest bet.
Island Wraps
The delicious, mouthful wraps at Island Wraps are simply amazing! The Pulled Chicken Wrap was packed to the brim with chunks of chicken dressed in Harissa sauce, as well as chopped up lettuce, cabbage, tomato and onions. They also do some solid lamb kofta, which you'd find inside their Lamb Kofta Wrap. Do not forget to try their Hummus too. It's fantastic!
CheeseHeads (Food Studio – One Galle Face)
Turophile or not, CheeseHeads is a good place to grab a snack, if you're at One Galle Face. Their burgers are quite good, and recently they introduced a Lebanese Yellow Rice with Halloumi & Chicken Shish Kebab, which we absolutely loved!
