Soon you’ll be able to order Harpo’s Pizza from your smartphone or tab. We’re demoing this service tonight and hope to have it available next week. As you can see from the screen, it lets you select a pizza (or pizzas) from Harpo’s and order through your device. Then the order goes to Harpo’s and you can track its status till it’s delivered to you.
The main annoyances we hope this will fix are 1) finding the menu 2) making a phone call 3) not knowing where your pizza is. Problems one and two we think we’ve fixed pretty good though we have yet to release bike tracking. What we do tell you is when your pizza is cooking and when it’s been dispatched.
We’re not handling the payment, you can choose cash or card. If it’s cash then just pay on delivery. If it’s card, they’ll call you to confirm and you can sign the slip upon delivery.
It’s not like making a phone call is that annoying, but we still think this is a fun and convenient way to order a pizza. Will be available on Android hopefully next week and iPhone the week after.
